Heljan class 33, 33004. Quite a pleasing weathering job. 33 004 again. Roco DB 220 015 (V200) in the process of weathering. I started with a wash of off-white to fade the paint. On the next one I do I might stop at this stage, as it actually looks quite realistic. 220015 again, after finishing weathering. It's a little heavier than it ideally should be, but overall I like it. 4-CEP DMS. MJT sides on a Lima body, with DC Kits underframe trussing, Southern Pride underframe modules, MJT ends and Mk4 power bogie, and a Replica Commonwealth bogie.

A sister to Linda, Blanche is a Huslet originally from Penrhyn Quarries, Bangor. NG15 number 133, seen in Dinas Yard. In my opinion a much more handsome loco than the cumbersome Garretts. A true veteran of the Ffestiniog and my favourite of their active fleet, The only surviving WHR locomotive, Russell's boiler ticket is currenly expired, though expect to see this fine machine running again soon. Help it to be so, donate through http://www.whr.co.uk/donation/russell.html The REAL Welsh Highland railway have their HQ in Porthmadog, across the road from the BR station. Gelert is the steam mainstay whilst Russel is overhauled. An extension is likely to open this year. Taliesin is a rebuild of an extinct class of locomotive, the Single Fairlie. I personally think it's a clumsy looking design. David Lloyd George, the 1992 built yet original looking Double Fairlie, seen at Minffordd. DLG again, this time at Porthmadog harbour station. and again... Linda, originally from Penrhyn Quarries, is one of the Ffestiniog's best looking locos.
